Abstract: What is the relevance of “Humanitude” in the aim of interpersonal relationships of relation and care? In order to answer to this question we followed the understanding of the concept of a person along time and we faced it with “Humanitude”. A humanist vision of person emerged as a “relation autonomous” that overcomes its own psychophysical limits through relation and that has a fundamental human experimental dignity, configurating an “ontological relation” paradigm towards person understanding. According to this paradigm “Humanitude”, through precise acts of stimulating the person present in the inter-personal relation, which promotes an immediate recognition of species belonging with, centres in autonomy while it serves beneficence and not malevolence in a fair measure, aiming a personalising fulfillment in action. Thus, “Humanitude” enables person’s transcendence and tends to be an essential care in human building.
